Alejandro (Alex) Rodriguez is the President of Coastland Construction, Inc, and has been a Florida licensed general contractor for over 25 years.
Born and raised in Miami of Cuban immigrants, Alex is a second-generation builder who worked summers in his father’s construction company. This enabled him to develop a strong foundation, acquiring the experience and extensive knowledge to rapidly advance once construction became a fulltime endeavor.
Alex brings a focused energy and ability to plan, manage and execute on all projects, with a commitment to providing optimum results. He is resolute in all his dealings to deliver quality construction, on time, safely, while ensuring complete owner satisfaction.
Alex’s business acumen and leadership skills ensure the continued development and expansion of Coastland Construction into an industry leader.
Vice President of Operations
Harry Bergollo is the Vice President of Operations for Coastland Construction. While maintaining exceptional quality control, Harry’s broad-based knowledge serves clients’ varied interest and keeps jobs running smoothly.
Harry Bergollo is highly accomplished in both his achievements in the Construction industry and in his brave service to our country as a Special Operations Combat Army Veteran and Paratrooper. The strength of his character is evident in his professional achievements and his efforts to continuously improve existing construction and safety standards. Harry skillfully manages personnel, resources, and budgets, while closing out projects on time and within budget.
His experience of 30 years in spearheading a vast spectrum of projects enhances the ongoing training of Coastland’s personnel to ensure proficiency and to develop a cohesive and capable team. Dedicated to maintaining a positive company environment, Harry is a driven leader whose work ethic, experience, and industry knowledge make him an essential member of Coastland’s executive team.
Vice President of Preconstruction
Tom Torres is the Vice President of Pre-Construction for Coastland Construction. Tom’s leadership has been integral in the development of a team which implements and ensures efficiency and quality via a meticulous process throughout the entire pre-construction phase.
His knowledge and experience in construction technology, planning, scheduling, budgeting and job costing allow for a seamless transition between pre-construction and operations.
With unwavering dedication during the pre-construction and operations support phase, Tom works closely with our clients to bring their designs to reality. Specializing in both the commercial and residential sectors, Tom brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry to our executive team.
Chief Financial Officer
Emilio has been involved in construction, real estate development and real estate investments since 1988.
His area of concentration and expertise is in the financial and accounting aspects and he is responsible for accurate record keeping on all matters related to job costs, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and financial reporting. Furthermore, he is responsible for the dissemination of all records and financial information to the company’s outside accounting firm, auditors and financial institutions.
Emilio’s project management experience makes for a perfect blend with his responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer, and he is a fundamental member of our executive team.
Director of Accounting Services
Alexa Rodriguez graduated cum laude from the University of Miami in 2015 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.
Her professional experience includes seven years accounting where her responsibilities include reconciliations, tracking accounts payable and accounts receivable, and analyzing financial statements.
Alexa is proficient in Sage CRE300 construction accounting software as well as PMWeb and Quicken software. She continues to further her education in real estate and accounting. She has extensive experience maintaining professional relationships with subcontractors and clients while managing the many components of the accounting department with organization and diligence.
