Vice President of Design and Development
Karen is a vital asset at Coastland Construction, boasting a versatile skill set and a wealth of experience. Her role is multifaceted, encompassing various responsibilities. She is the creative force behind the development of unique communities for our multifamily projects, ensuring both character and functionality. A native of Barbados, Karen’s work is influenced by the rich island community and Bajan culture.
Karen oversees design and marketing, focused on visually appealing and functional living spaces. She has an active role in the asset management of our current and future development and is the liaison between the construction team and property management team during the completion and lease up process. Additionally, Karen excels in team building events, and coordinates public relations for Coastland.
With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a minor in marketing and a real estate license, she has a broad background in construction, design and marketing. She also dedicates her time to honoring our nation’s active-duty special forces families through Host A Hero.
