Sara Munilla Cabrera

Sara Cabrera, the Director of Pre-Construction at Coastland Construction, is a dynamic force in the construction industry, leading with energy and expertise. Sara takes a proactive approach to pre-construction, collaborating closely with clients throughout the entire project cycle—from the earliest stages of schematic design and initial budget development to the complex process of permitting and attaining final GMP approvals. Alongside her talented team, Sara expertly manages the intricate aspects of design coordination, constructability reviews, competitive bidding, value engineering and procurement.

Sara’s deep-rooted passion for the built environment was nurtured during her upbringing, where she spent considerable time at her father’s jobsites. This early exposure ignited her appreciation for construction and propelled her toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Miami. Over the course of her remarkable two-decade career, she has contributed her expertise to a wide array of projects, from historical restorations to leading-edge new construction, spanning government facilities, schools and mixed-use developments.

Her diverse experience, coupled with her innate ability to foster relationships, fuels her commitment to client and trade partner engagement, collaborative design and mentorship of the next generation of construction professionals.
