Shellaine Ramkishun, the Chief Operating Officer at Coastland Construction, plays a crucial role in driving excellence and growth within the Company. Shellaine’s role encompasses overseeing the operations of the Company and the entire Construction process from initial planning through project completion. With a sharp focus on operational efficiency, Shellaine ensures that every project adheres to high standards of quality and efficiency.
Shellaine is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor with over 26 years of experience in the construction industry, encompassing development, entitlements, leadership, operations, general management, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and permitting. Having lived in South Florida for more than 34 years, Shellaine has played a significant role in shaping Miami's skyline, contributing to iconic projects such as the Kaseya Center (formerly American Airlines Arena), the Adrienne Arsht Center, the Ritz Carlton/Di Lido Hotel, the Lowes Miami Beach Hotel, the Seville/Edition Hotel, Brickell Arch, and various high-rise condominiums.
Shellaine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Florida International University and has completed Master's Degree coursework in Construction Management. She also earned a certificate in the Capital Improvement Program from the University of Georgia. Known for her vibrant personality, Shellaine is also multilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
